Jimmy Nardello is an Italian heirloom pepper which was introduced to the U.S. by Guiseppe Nardello in 1887. A favorite from the southern part of Italy, these productive 60cm (2ft) plants can yield upto a dozen peppers. The fruit mature from green bright red and grow to 15-18cm (6-7in) long and 2½cm (1in) wide. Suitable for adding to salads or cooking into stir-fries.[1]
