Pimiento de Padrón are small green chilli peppers named after a town in Galicia Spain. They are usually fried in salt and served as tapas.[3] The fruit have an irregular shape, varying from thin to thick, completely rounded or pointed. Most Pimiento de Padrón chillies are mild, even so some of them can reach a very high degree of pungency.[1]
