Pumpkin is an unusual ornamental variety of chilli. Each plant is said to produce about 35 fruits, 3½cm (1½in) wide and 2cm (1in) tall. The fruits mature to orange at the end of the season, then their shell hardens, once dried, and takes the shape of a pumpkin.[2] It is not recommended for eating.[1]
