The Kung pao chilli is a large, fast growing 90cm (3ft) tall plant. They are loaded with skinny 15-23cm (6-9in) long thin walled cayenne-type fruit which mature from green to a dark rich red in 85 days. At around 10,000 scoville heat units, they are often used to spicy up Thai, Szechuan and other Southeast Asian dishes.[1]
