Grande jalapeño is an F1 hybrid Jalapeño variety of chilli. Plant produces good yields of 11½cm (4½in) long by 4cm (1½in) wide hot peppers. Peppers turn from green to red when mature. This giant Jalapeño pepper is an inch longer than than regular Jalapeños. It has thick walls and is disease resistant. Excellent fresh or pickled. Produces heavy yields even under adverse weather conditions. Plant has green stems, green leaves, and white flowers.[2]
