Fooled you is a hybridised variety of Jalapeño with no heat although it retains the essential flavour of a jalapeño. These peppers look like normal jalapeños except they are a little larger at 8¼cm (3¼in) long, the fruit is thick-walled and heavy. This variety is perfect for making mild salsas or using in Mexican dishes served to children or others who cannot tolerate spicy food.[3]
