Pusa jwala is a Cayenne-type chilli. It is a 90cm (3ft) tall plant and a prolific producer of hot, 7-13cm (3-5in) long thin wrinkled peppers which ripen from lime green to orange and then to red in about 85 days. An ideal chilli for flavouring Indian curries.[1]
