Peruvian purple is a highly ornamental Pequin-type variety chilli, which produces 2-2½cm (¾-1in) long by 1-1¼cm (⅓-½in) wide purple pods which grow in upright in clusters on the plant. The pods ripen to red approximately 85-95 days after transplanting. This beautiful plant has dark purple stems, purple/green variated leaves and produce stunning purple flowers.[1]
