Seal is a cultivar of Dutch lavender (Lavandula x intermedia). The cultivar freely produces spikes of violet-mauve flowers on long, strong stems in summer, slightly later than most. With silvery grey-green foliage this plant is a vigorous grower and good fragrance. From the Seal Herb Farm, Kent.[1]
