Dutch lavender is a hybrid lavender produced from a cross between English lavender (L. angustifolia) and French lavender (L. latifolia). Dutch lavender yields a similar essential oil to English lavender, but with higher levels of terpenes including camphor, which add a sharper overtone to the fragrance.
