Offenham is a pointed cabbage with dark green leaf colour. It is grown as a winter cabbage variety.

Growing[edit | edit source]

Sowing[edit | edit source]
Sow outdoors in a prepared seedbed 1-2cm (½-¾in) deep. Can be sown thinly in a broad drill and left unthinned if greens are required.[1]
Transplanting[edit | edit source]
Transplant when large enough to handle into well prepared, firm soil, allowing 15x15cm (6x6in) for greens and 38x25cm (15x10in) for hearted. Plant firmly with lower leaves just above soil level. Water well until established.[1]
Aftercare[edit | edit source]
Keep well watered and cover with fine netting to protect.[1]
