Potimaron is a trailing variety of squash. It is a French heirloom whose name is derived from "potiron" (French for pumpkin) and "marron" (French for chestnut), due to its chestnut flavour. A variety which stores well and has fruit of 1⅓-1¾Kg (3-4lbs).[1]
