The gynoecium is the ovule-producing part of a flower. In angiosperms it is typically the innermost whorl of structures in a flower and is surrounded (in perfect flowers) by the stamens (androecium) and (in complete flowers) by the perianth (petals and sepals). It is made up of the ovary, style and stigma. Template:Clrr
