Not really - One of those simple when you know why problems. I broke several hundred wikipedia templates by removing another template from them and or adding a comment after the the noinclude bit when importing them. This created a break in a inline one forcing a new line in the middle of a template when used on the page so you got a weird broken line in the middle of the line of text on every page using it. A top wikipedia coder pointed it out to me when i was trying to fix something else, but it took months to find the faulty templates as the ones involved used many nested templates in the routines & id imported hundreds more in the meantime. with some wikipedia ones for every one you import you appear to need 10 more.
I'll let somebody else explain collapsible stuff as i used the wikipedia navbox suite of templates on my wiki for collapsible and nestable navbox. It is far more complex than wikias implementation (which was not about when i copied wikipedias templates). A bit of code is added to the MediaWiki:Common.css/js files to add a routine, that is called by the template if you want them to shrink or expand. - BulldozerD11 22:53, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
