Melanie is a cultivar of Spanish lavender (Lavandula stoechas). Growing in a dwarf compact habit, this lavender produces aromatic grey-green foliage and flowerheads with small yellow centred, blue-purple flowers topped by violet bracts. Compared with other cultivars, Melanie has a long flowering period. Bred by Van Heesbeen Cultures B.V., Netherlands.[1]
